We're a group of 8th graders who decided it would be cool to build something on the internet together โ something that wasn't just posting on social media, but actually felt like our own. We all go to the same school, have different interests, and thought it would be fun to put everything we care about in one place.
Some of us are into tech and coding. Some of us are athletes. Some of us are into music, gaming, or just figuring out what's actually interesting on the internet. We write about all of it โ whatever seems worth talking about.
PulsePoint is our outlet. We research topics, write drafts, edit each other's work, and publish what we think turned out well.
We're in 8th grade. We don't think it's a good idea to put our real names or faces on the internet just yet โ we're just not there. So PulsePoint has a frog mascot (that's Puckwudgie ๐ธ) and that's how we identify.
Being anonymous doesn't mean we're not real people putting in real work. It just means we're being careful about what we share publicly, and we think that's a pretty smart call for anyone our age.
We write articles based on what's trending, what we're personally interested in, or what one of us brings to the group and says "this is actually kind of cool." We then edit each other's work, fact-check things we're not sure about, and publish when an article feels ready.
Not everything is going to be perfect โ we're still learning. But we're trying to make something we can be proud of, and something that's actually useful to read.
If you spot something that's wrong or just want to say hi, use the contact page. We read everything.
